Catholic Charities philosophy for both our Mens and Womens Halfway Houses is to provide a positive living environment that offers transitional living for men and women returning to the community from inpatient substance treatment facilities. The program focuses on restoring and building health, independence, and productive lifestyles, while following the normally prescribed mutual help model of treatment.Each program is an OASAS certified 16-bed community residence located in the residential section of Utica. Residents typically stay 6 months, or as long as outpatient drug/alcohol treatment lasts.
