Detailed description details:
Provides emergency housing AND transitional housing.
Men are separated from women.
24 beds for women.
18 family rooms.
48 beds for men.
Qualifications for Entry:
Intake is first come first served happening between Monday through Thursday 9 am - 3 pm and Friday from 9 am - 12 pm. No unaccompanied minors and no sex crime or arson convictions allowed.
The first 45 days at CFH are free. After that, CFH assesses an occupancy fee of $15 a week for the next 6 months, and $25 a week after that. Guests without income are not denied service and may enter into a Sweat Equity agreement instead. Guests are required to be working actively toward increasing self-sufficiency, as outlined in their self-sufficiency plans. Guests are also expected to contribute to the general upkeep of the facility through chores requirements.
Guests are encouraged to complete their stay within 2 years, with the average stay lasting 4-6 months. There are no limits on the number of stays at CFH, provided an individual does not get barred for violent or seriously disruptive behavior.
