Emmanuel House is a faith based, nonprofit, organization located in the City of Detroit, funded primary through federal and local funding resources.
Emmanuel House assist any person needing sober housing or substance abuse related assistance regardless of their income, religion, race or sex.
Transitional/sober Housing for Homeless Veterans (men or women), the program is designed to provide quality, affordable housing and services to homeless veterans in the City of Detroit.
They develop an individualized service goal/treatment plan for each resident as well as provide Case Management and referrals services.
Veterans receive job training skills that will develop and increase their marketability for future employment.
Also assist each client in securing permanent housing and achieving self-sufficiency.
The program is located in the French Quarter apartment complex situated on 156 acres of land located on the west side of Detroit; between Evergreen Avenue and the Southfield Freeway, north of West Chicago Street.
