Henry Street Settlement offers temporary emergency housing for homeless families (Urban Family Center and Helens House), homeless women (Third Street Womens Residence), and homeless female survivors of domestic violence and their children (Domestic Violence Survivors Shelter). The Settlement also operates a permanent supportive housing residence (Third Street Supportive Housing) with units available to chronically homeless men and women who meet the NY/NY II criteria.Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity to enrich lives and enhance human progress for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs.
