Our Mission at Destiny Sober Living is to provide an affordable, safe, sober living environment designed to encourage and support long term recovery from alcohol and drugs. We set high standards for our residents, and provide a structured environment where they can best learn the necessary “life skills” required for the successful transition to a healthy lifestyle. Here at Destiny Sober Living we are big believers that “we” can do together that which we are unable to do alone. All principles, standards, and recommendations in our housing have been born out of more than 25 years of personal experience in recovery. Our utmost goal is for individuals to lead peaceful, fulfilling, sober lives.

We have many maintenance issues at our house that need to be addressed. Broken dishwasher (has never worked since I've been here), a/c unit leaking water into a bedroom and not functioning properly, broken tile, broken microwave (has not worked since I've been here), and other miscellaneous problems around house that need to be addressed.

This house has helped me immensely in getting my life started and my recovery foundation secured. The rules in the house are well defined and are all extremely valuable life skills for sobriety and our futures. Not only is Schanda an amazing person, she is extremely selfless and makes the women here feel respected. This home is neat, clean, with high quality furnishings and houseware that makes us feel respected and boosts our confidence and the standard of our quality of life in our new found sobriety. The standards for residency here are high yet achievable and the environment is full of women who are serious about recovery. Amenities are provided, a weekly book study and a weekly house meeting are also provided. Schanda has a wealth of information and resources regarding sobriety and you will absolutely get out of this house what you put in to it. The house is maintained very well and replacements for equipment, furniture, and appliances are taken seriously. The women are very kind here and will offer help finding contacts or meetings.
