Wayfarers House provides sober/transitional residential shelter services for women and women with young children who are experiencing a period of homelessness in their lives. 















Shelter, food, and assistance in obtaining medical, mental health, substance use treatment and other services.















Meeting Ground is a faith-based organization that has responded to the needs of homeless people in Maryland and Delaware since 1981.  Individuals and families experiencing homelessness will find temporary safe haven in our services.  Using faith-based values, our guests can regroup and get their lives back in order with the help and support of a caring community.

We, the community of Meeting Ground, respect and serve persons at risk of, or experiencing homelessness by meeting basic human needs, connecting people to services, fostering spiritual and emotional well-being, and advocating for those whose voices need to be heard, with the goal of creating a path to a place they call home.
