This residence is the women's equivalent to New Hope II. Women's issues such as self esteem, parenting skills and personal relationships are among the issues that are addressed. Women can stay as long as one year. Our requirements include 12 step meeting attendance, involvement in our aftercare program, and some "activity" in the community. Activity refers to employment, going to school, doing volunteer work, etc. There is no other program in the area that does what we do and how we do it. We offer services on all levels of care, dependent on what the individual needs. How we determine what the client needs is by assessment. While our assessments take some time, it is the best way to find out what is really going in that person's life. If you're ready, so are we. Whether you're a family member or the person with the illness, don't wait. There's never going to be a convenient time to take this step.
